Mission: The objects of this organization shall be the preservation of life and property from fire and other hazards; to bring about a better understanding between this organization and the public; and to cooperate with other organizations engaged in laudable endeavors for the betterment of fire departments and fire protection. The organization provides emergency services to the city of shelton connecticut per the city charter and receives from the city support in the form of a building, fire apparatus, equipment and limited direct financial reimbursement for support of specific city run events. All normal fire activities for the entire city are supported by volunteer fire fighters and officers.
Programs: Support emergency operations within the city of shelton, specifically within the company 4 fire district as well as mutual aid to any adjoining companies or towns requesting aid per dispatch protocols for the city of shelton ct
