Mission: The sclc mission is to provide accessible legal advocacy to people living with physical and mental disabilities so that they may obtain the resources necessary to overcome barriers to financial and medical stability.
Programs: The disabled homeless advocacy project (dhap):dhap holds clinics at local homeless shelters, and may provide information, advice, advocacy, referral and direct legal representation to qualified individuals through social security's application and appeals process.
the social security advocacy project (ssap):ssap staff and volunteers provide legal advice, advocacy, referral, and direct legal representation to low-income individuals facing disputes with the social security administration regarding their eligibility for benefits. Primarily, ssap represents clients with overpayments and terminations.
