Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid, Vocational & Technical Schools
Mission: School Me Now Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization seeking to help high school, vocational, and college students market themselves to earn scholarships regardless of their gender, religion, race, GPA, or socioeconomic background. School Me Now Foundation will also seek to fundraise from corporations and other foundations to provide our members with opportunities for more scholarships. Our donors can choose who will receive a scholarship from our members with ease. We will have total transparency and accountability to our donors and the general public. Our overall goal is to educate and help millions of students obtain scholarships to fulfill their financial needs for college tuition. This is a better option to the burden of taking out student loans, which must be repaid with interest.
Results: We have developed an unique interactive website that will educate and help our member students raise money for college. Scholarships will be given based on students profiles and essays on "Why they are deserving of a scholarship." We hope to change the way scholarships are given out where the donor can pick directly who their scholarship goes to and for how much they will give! We are here to help every student that wants a scholarship to succeed in raising the money needed to attend college or vocational school.
Target demographics: students that are in the 10th grade and up through college or vocational schools to earn scholarships
Direct beneficiaries per year: our member students by creating the website that would link students directly to donors that decide who will receive a scholarship. Our first year is in 2014, but next year will be even awesome.
Geographic areas served: the entire United States
Programs: online educational help so that our scholars have the ability to pay for the high costs of college by "crowdfunding" friends, family, and organizations so they will receive as many scholarships necessary to fulfill their financial goal! We will even help out and work to get our student members scholarships for our own efforts!
