WHY SAL?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzcpKkTLUj4

WHAT DOES SAL DO WITH DONATIONS? HELP KIDS!!! It is a well established fact the presence of a caring, involved adult in a child's life - early and ongoing - improves that child's self esteem. This , in turn, reduces that child's juvenile delinquency risk factors.

To that end, SAL has been connecting "cops with kids' through a variety of sports, mentoring art and dance, healthy living, leadership and character development since its founding in 1997. This past year, we served over 3,500 youth throughout the county in SAL programs and an additional 10, 000 in school assemblies, classes, Play Streets, Movie Nights and other events.
