Programs: In 2017 the shelter provided services to 883 victims including 483 children. 24,479 bed nights were provided and 67,401 meals were served, all at no cost to the victims. The shelter operates 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The shelter's outreach center provided services to those that need assistance but do not need shelter housing. Assistance was provided to victims to file 107 temporary protective orders as well as services to 257 victims including 126 children for 186 court appearances. 25 children attended an 8 week summer camp where they visited the library, museums, a water park, rode a horse, and many other exciting activities, also at no cost to the families. In addition, volunteers provided over 4,000 hours of invaluable assistance. Also started a new transitional housing program.
