Mission: 1. To promote the participation of citizen in the community to provide safe passage of students to and from elementary school in their community. 2. To recruit, train, schedule, supervise, monitor and recognize the volunteers in order to effectively administer and coordinate the program. 3. To have and to exercise all rights and powers conferred on non-profit corporations under the laws of the state of california, including, but not limited to, the following rights and powers. 4. To solicit gifts of, to receive by gift or bequest, to purchase, or otherwise acquire real and personal property of every kind and nature, including share of stocks, bonds, and other securities of other corporations and to hold, own, manage, and administer the same. 5. To act as trustee under any trust incidental to the purpose of this corporation and to receive, hold, administer, and expend funds and property subject to such trust.
