I have had the honor of working closely with this nonprofit for years. What I appreciate most about them is that they are solution-driven! They work alongside shelter workers to find solutions for our ever-changing pain points - staffing, animal behavior, transport, foster needs, lack of resources, etc. They do the work. The members of this foundation have worked closely with animal shelters across the country and advocated for responsible pet ownership. They plug in where they need to and they do it quickly. They are nimble and always want to meet the community where they are and provide for their needs. In the 14 years that I have worked in animal sheltering, I have never worked with a foundation that is so dedicated to the animals, AND ALSO THE PEOPLE in the industry!
