Mission: The primary purpose is to provide shelter, housing, and supportive services to assist homeless and low-income people in achieving self-sufficiency.
Programs: The shelter program provides shelter and housing for homeless men, women and children. A total of 41,654 nights of lodging were provided to 2,705 adults and 382 children during the fy14 fiscal year.
supportive services include the soup kitchen, medical care, single point entry, etc, which provides services to individuals and families in the bismarck-mandan area who are in need. During the fy14 fiscal year, 79,430 meals were served to 2,790 adults and 485 children. Along with shelter, clients receive individualized case management and supportive services to support their transition from street to stability.
the housing program, horizons, provides emergency and transitional shelter to qualified individuals. Over 43,000 nights of shelter were provided during the fy14 fiscal year.
