Causes: Education, Two-Year Colleges
Mission: To provide affordable and accessible education opportunities to the underserved populace of this area by collaborating with local educational and administrative agencies, utilizing an innovative delivery model that is responsible to economic needs, and providing training which leads to family sustaining careers.
Programs: The board completed an extensive study, assessment, and planning process for the start-up operations and finances for the college. In may 2017, the pa department of education officially approved the rrc as a degree-granting college in the commonwealth, pending accomplishment of accreditation goals. The board began hiring key administrators in 2017 to begin planning the degree programs, student services, and delivery locations.
