run4water's most active mission is in sneedville, tn. Our most notable outreaches in the area include a thanksgiving meal distribution, a christmas fair giveaway, and continual small water related projects and ministries. Organization sponsored more than ten separate trips to sneedville in 2017. Run4water sponsors several missionary tours to central america and africa annually. In 2017, run4water worked in southern honduras, eastern nicaragua, kenya & uganda. Run4water ministers to local congregations and educates them on the importance of clean water and provides means for them to collect and store clean water. The run around the world festival consist of several races involving 200 children and 300 adults. The 24-hour even was an ultra marathon, color run, & fundraiser. Runners paid an entry fee. Live music, games and other activities were also provided for festival attendees. Run4water also sponsored a memorial run in honor of shelby glisson, called "shine for shelby". The proceeds for the run provide support to nursing students.
