Mission: The roy eddleman institute is being formed for the benefit of, to perform the functions of and/or carry out the purposes of the chemical heritage foundation, a public charity described in sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(2) of the internal revenue code. The roy eddleman institute carry out the purposes of the chemical heritage foundation principally through programs and fellowships in the areas of collecting, preserving, interpreting and disseminating materials that record and explain the rich heritage of achievement implicit in the chemical sciences. A particular focus of support will be chemical heritage foundation's own roy eddleman institute, and its development of electronic, digital, printed, web, and modern media presentations that render vivid the adventure and progress of the chemical and biomolecular sciences, in ways that provide informal learning opportunities to varied publics - e. G. K through 12, college, post-graduate, and general audiences.
