Mission: Rpran is dedicated to serving rural communities through innovative approaches to sheltering, adoption strategies, public education about responsible pet guardianship and available spay/neuter programs. The organization intends to improve the lives of companion dogs and people through advocacy, education, and support. The main priority is to facilitate the rescue and adoption of stray abandoned, neglected, abused, and surrendered companion dogs and to place them into lifelong, committed, loving homes. Volunteers of rpran assist with transportation of animals from shelters to rescue groups or foster homes. They provide licensed foster homes to care for impounded dogs until permanent adoptive placement is secured. They help with breed rescue networking to move dogs in kill shelters to no-kill rescue/foster care. They provide education and consulting services for rural shelters, in procedures, paperwork, and programs.
