Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Children & Youth, Children & Youth Services
Mission: ROC City Bottoms Diaper Bank collects and distributes diapers for little bottoms in need. We work to fill an unmet need within our city and that need is- diapers! Over half of the children living in Rochester, NY live in poverty. Diapers are not covered by WIC or SNAP benefits. Through our partnerships with other local organizations and agencies, we are able to get diapers and diapering supplies directly to those who need it most. NO BOTTOM LEFT BEHIND!
Results: Since we started in August of 2015, we have collected 85,000+ diapers, over 40,000 wipes, and we have distributed over 50,000 diapers to the greater Rochester area.
Target demographics: children and families in need
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 20 local organizations, including shelters and food pantries, as well as social workers and their clients directly.
Geographic areas served: the greater Rochester area
Programs: diaper need relief and awareness.
