Each year, members of the Robbinsville Education Foundation reach out to the teachers in our school district encouraging them to apply for grants to enhance their teaching. I have been the recipient of several grants awarded by the Foundation, including a Historical Fiction Book Club and a grant to promote tolerance (Ripple of Hope-Using History’s Powerful Stories to Teach Tolerance). Each time that I apply for a grant, I am impressed by the generosity of the Foundation and their dedication. These grants fund innovative, quality classroom programs in grades K-12 and increase student academic achievement in all areas of the curriculum while promoting creativity, leadership, critical thinking, skills in diversity and conflict resolution, and experiences in the visual and performing arts. The Robbinsville Education Foundation is A+ in my grade book!
