Causes: Disaster Aid, Fire Prevention
Mission: The organization provides fire prevention and public education services to the town of roanoke and the surrounding community. This activity has been and is currently the foundation of this organization since its date of formation. The organization members provides crime scene preservation services, fire suppression services and hazardous material awareness. The department also provides fire related investigative services, carbon monoxide/smoke alarm inspections, search and rescue (including water and ice extractions). These services are all currently offered to the town of roanoke and the surrounding community. The organization also provides ems services including non-transport basic life support and support to advanced life support units.
Programs: Exempt purpose: provided fire prevention and public education services to the town of roanoke and the surrounding community. Achievements/accomplishments: represented the organization at the following events:-huntington county 4h fair - (estimated number of residents benefited - 40)-roanoke elementary school fire prevention week - (estimated number of students benefited - 60)-fire station tour for roanoke elementary school, christ's united methodist church, seminary united brethren church and roanoke public library summer program - (estimated children/residents benefited - 95). -open house for public and annual hog roast - (estimated residents benefited - 80)-open house for first responders for rollin' into roanoke car show - (estimated visitors benefited - 20). -open house during fall festival and veterans day parade (estimated residents benefited - 600).

The department also provided fire related investigative services, carbon monoxide/smoke alarm inspections, search and rescue (including water and ice extractions). These services are all currently offered to the town of roanoke and the surrounding community. Achievements/accomplishments: responded and provided fire suppression services to 46 calls. Also responded and provided assistance to 42 motor vehicle related accident calls during 2017.

Achievements/accomplishments: provided ems services to 173 medical related first responder calls for the town of roanoke, jackson township, and the extreme northern portion of union townships.
