Causes: Boys & Girls Clubs, Boys Clubs, Children & Youth
Mission: The mission of the boys and girls' club of southern rensselaer county, inc. Is to inspire and enable young people, from all walks of life, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
Programs: Education and recreational - the club operates a recreational facility for memebers ages 6-18 where memebers are able to interact with one another without a threat to themselves or their peers surrounded by professional staff that serve as role models and mentors.
after school program - the after school program is a comprehensive, affordable and registered child care service by new york state office of child and family services (nysocfs) and partially funded by the advantage after school program grant of the nysocfs. The program offers a safe and affordable child care program for our working parents. Strict staffing ratios are mainted as required by nysocfs.
camp adventure - camp adventure provides a full day of aquatic, athletic, cultural, and educational activities conducted by fully trained and certified club staff during the summer months.
