Mission: Rss is a not-for-profit mental health agency whose mission is to enrich and empower the lives of its clients by providing to them services and opportunities for meaningful emotional, social vocational, and educational growth. As approved by the board, rss provides services to person's with disabilities and disadvantages in the capital district of nys and surrounding areas. Rss carries out its mission objectives by operating a diverse array of residential, employment, treatment, rehabilitation, case management, and community support services for persons with serious and persistent mental illness in twelve upstate ny counties. During the 2017 reporting year, rss residence programs served approximately 1,338 individuals, and the day programs served approximately 4,155 individuals.
