Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: Redemption road rescue was founded as an organization to help horses and horse owners in need. We accept surrendered animals if the owner can no longer maintain the animal, as well as work side by side with local authorities on animal cruelty cases and seizures. Our ultimate goal is to rescue horses until rescue is no longer needed.
Results: Over 1,000 equine and other non domestic animals since our founding in 2009. Hundreds of owners who, through no fault of their own, found themselves in situations where they could not continue to give their equine the care they needed.
Target demographics: the equine population and equine owners in need
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 100 equine and other abused animals
Geographic areas served: West Tennesse and surrounding counties
Programs: Rescue, rehabilitation and adoption placement of approximately 100 horses annually.
