Programs: Organization gave the frank n brasile clinician of the year award to a member of the profession and gave efficacy research awards to temple university for its water safety cvurricuum for children with autism spectrum disorders for 2016 and to clemson university for a study of the impact of yoga on seniors with alzheimer's and their caregivers for 2017. The temple grant was to improve training for staff and volunteers to be more effective working with autistic children on community aquatics programs in toms river, nj. The clemson grant was to determine the physical and psychological benefits of yoga on community dwelling informal caregivers and their care recipients. The foundation ran a booth at the national conference in chicago and provided information about the foundation to professional recreational therapists. The organization also improved relationships with atra chapter affiliates.
