I've been following their activities since a few years ago and I'm very happy to see all the results such a great nonprofit has. I strongly believe in the realistic and positive impact they have in cameroon.

I worked as a volunteer for Reach Out Cameroon and my experience with them was really great. They do an important and impactful work in the communities. They are a partner for local government and international institutions doing work in health, education and empowerment in Cameroon.
REO is a professional organisation that really puts the resources in the projects that make sense and help improve the communities.

Reach Out Cameroon is a great NGO which has been assisting our project Roots4Kids since September 2016. We are lucky to have such a reliable partner looking after our project. They have a lot of experience in the field and they have been supporting underprivileged people for many years now!

Hi I'm Tim and I am from Germany. I was lucky to work for 5 months for the great NGO Reach Out Cameroon. This organisation has 3 departments "Health" , "Human Rights & Governance" and the department I worked for: "Wealth creation".
We always had a lot of work to do because there were always so many new projects which had to plan and also old ones which we had to follow up. I was always happy to be part of these projects which I can also highly recommend because I think they have a deep impact on the cameroonian communities.
In a nutshell I can say that Reach Out Cameroon is doing a great work and it's worth to support them on their different projects.

Reach Out Cameroon plays a crucial role in reaching a philantrophical hand to multidimensionally marginalized citizens, not only in Buea but also in other regions of Cameroon.
REO schows how only a handful of committed people can have a positive impact on so many without being undermined by economical, political or religious expediency.
I wish her as well as her staff all the best and success for future activities!

Cheers,

Jan

Worked in Cameroon and switching between organizations, finally ended up staying with them as they had working programs. Good overall experience and they do have comparably decent impact on the local life.

I worked as an international volunteer together with Reach Out Cameroon in Buea. After working together for more then six months I am really convinced from the work of Reach Out Cameroon. You have such a big impact on all these different people it is really impressive. I am sure that if you continue your work you can reach a big quantity of people and change very much.

My favourite sentence from my stay was “When women move forward the world moves with them” from Madame Ester at the “Greenwomen Forum”. That is a good example for the work of Reach Out: supporting women and vulnerable children in Cameroon leads the country to develop itself.

I am proud to be able to say that I was a part of Reach Out.

Thank you and wish you all the best in the future!!

I was with REO for a year in 2012/13. It was a wonderfull experience and i learned a lot about project planing and project execution in different fields. What helped a lot was the fact that REO had a lot of volunteers befor me and knew about difficulties that can appear and needs of volunteers from abroad.
But my work with REO didn´t end after my time as a volunteer. I am still organizing funds, expecially for their hospital in Mbalangi, and visited the place to check the development. I can say that REO is doing a wonderfull job their and working with them has been and still is always a satisfaction. They use the money they receive to do the best they can with it and keep me informed about all developments. Good job guys and girls!

I came to know Reach Out through a friend and spent three months volunteering with the NGO. The time in Buea was one of the most intense, inspiring and motivating experiences of my life. Obviously, getting to know different cultures - and questioning previously held beliefs - is already an interesting "adventure".
However, my most important experience was to feel the vigour and zeal that the staff of Reach Out evinced every day in order to help the most vulnerable of their region. They did not simply distribute money, condoms, and mosquito nets and then left again - no! They really cared for the people. They talked with them about their problems, built connections with them and remained in contact. Where help was needed - be it in material terms or in terms of recommendations - they really put their back into the problem and supported the people as best as they could.
What more can I say? - In my point of view, Reach Out is on the right track. Guided by their motto "Making the world a better place. For all.", they convinced me that their work is meaningful and effective. (That's why I decided, upon return to my home country, to create a friends' association in order to further support their work.) I'm thus really glad that I had the opportunity to get to know Reach Out and can only recommend it.

The volunteers of Reach Out Cameroon are trying hard to help all the needed ones in Cameroon. I feel so good helping them helping others, and I think everybody should take a look on their projects to feel the same way and make the world a better place.
