Causes: Domestic Violence, Family Violence Shelters, Homeless & Housing
Mission: To offer christ-centered hope, healing, and direction to women and children escaping domestic violence.
Programs: Hope harbor is in the start-up phase of operations, so there has been little program service accomplishments in the 2017 year. Hope harbor is pursuing its program service goals of 1) providing housing; 2) case management with an emphasis on personal goal plans; 3) life skills classes in finance, parenting, health, nurtition, and personal development; 4) consistent emotional support through the care of staff and volunteers; 5) referral to community resources for education, vocational evaluaiton, development counseling, and family assistance.
