Mission: Our mission is simple but powerful,Helping Families...Changing Lives. Our philosophy is to carry out our work with compassion, sincerity and clarity of purpose. A New Leaf provides diverse behavioral health programs designed to serve people facing specific issues and crises for which counseling and related services can help.

Programs: Children's services: a new leaf's community behavioral health programs for children provide help for mental and behavioral health issues as supported by contractual agreements. Services are designed to build academic success as well as improve and promote emotional, physical and mental well-being and include case management, family support, therapy, social rehabilitation, facility based after school and summer care and youth intervention and respite. The program served 3,679 clients in 2013-14. A new leaf's youth services include contractual residential and outpatient treatment centers that provide behavioral health interventions and a myriad of other services required to stabilize behavior and optimize personal growth and development. Individual, family and group counseling, referral, education and follow-up services are provided. The program served 80 clients in 2013-14. A new leaf's foster care program provides a range of services on behalf of the communities' children, including those who are behaviorally challenged. The program provides foster care licensure to those wanting to open their homes to foster care. The program served 118 clients in 2013-14. A new leaf's parent aide program provides services to families whose children are placed in the legal custody of ades. Working with cps specialist, the parent aide program provides services to the family with a goal of determining reunification and timeliness, designed to meet the overall cpa case plan. The behavioral changes needed by parents/caregivers are observed, measured and evaluated by the team on an on-going basis. The program served 115 clients in 2013-14. The pactt (parents and children teaming together) program is an in-home and community based support and rehabilitative health service for children and families with challenging needs who are referred by provider network organization. The program served 191 clients in 2013-14.

housing and shelter services: a new leaf provides emergency shelter, basic needs, case management, child care and educational classes for homeless individuals and families and for victims of domestic violence and their children. Programs include numerous on-site resources that support clients future success. In addition, ancillary services include a temporary overflow program utilized when domestic violence shelters are full, a court advocate program, family advocacy services, crisis hotlines and centralized screening for homeless and domestic violence shelters across the valley as well as a new leaf. The program served 1,204 clients in 2013-14.
