Precious Lamb pre-school is a wonderful resource for those who are experiencing homelessness and are in local shelters (Domestic Violence, Maternity).
As a Case Manager with a local non-profit agency, we have connected a wide range of clients to Precious Lamb. Not only do they understand the confidentiality our clients need, but this program provides an educational structure for the families. PL is well rounded as they connect their parents/guardians to resources and give space for them to be with their children as they navigate pre-school life. I highly recommend!
Precious Lamb has made a huge impact on my daughter and I from the moment I enrolled my daughter. I feel supported and comfortable dropping my daughter off everyday and my daughter looks forward to going and I always pick her up with a smile on her face. I’m grateful to all the Precious Lamb staff for everything that they do for parents and kids.
Precious Lambs Preschool stands alone in heart, love, and true dedication to the children and families they serve. I have been in relationship with this wonderful school for 3 years now. I have full peace and confidence leaving my precious babes with the staff at PL. Because the love and support of this school my children are blossoming and growing in opportunities they never would know without this intentional school. I cannot count the number of times this school has stepped in to help my family. I’ve never felt so happy and secure with the care of my children. They make me a better parent. I could go on and on .
Precious Lamb is literally a blessing from heaven! My kids love them so much and they take care of my kids as if they are their own! The teachers and staff at Precious Lamb are attentive, detail oriented and just plain kind hearted and loving.
Precious Lamb Preschool is such a HUGE blessing to the Long Beach community! They love the kids they serve very well, support the families the best they can, and are a joy to volunteer and serve with.

I started volunteering with Precious Lamb Preschool in October 2023, and it has been an incredible experience. It's hard to explain what a gift this preschool is. From the top down, Precious Lamb is the type of place you want to see grow because of the great work they do for children and families. The staff are incredibly selfless and giving, the board members are dedicated, and the impact on the community is profound.
Precious Lamb Preschool provides full-day, Christ-centered, quality education and care for children aged 18 months to five years, particularly those experiencing homelessness. The environment they create supports the growth and development of the children in every way possible. It’s unbelievable to see how much the kids benefit from the nurturing and structured learning environment.
I am thrilled to see that Precious Lamb is growing and moving to a new facility, allowing them to help even more children. Every time there is a volunteer opportunity, I don't want to miss out. Seeing firsthand the positive changes in the children and knowing I am contributing to such an impactful organization makes every moment spent there worthwhile.
My friends have also joined me in volunteering with Precious Lamb, and they rave about how great their experiences have been. The sense of community and the joy of making a difference are palpable.

Precious Lamb is a wonderful gift..I’ve had the opportunity to volunteer at the school. They have a very welcoming atmosphere and it’s truly refreshing to see staff that are committed to being of service to others. The families that are enrolled in the program are respected, encouraged and taken care of.

Precious Lamb has been such a blessing for our whole family, especially our 2 year old daughter. She was not talking when she started at PL last summer, and now she is talking, singing and absolutely thriving. All of the teachers and staff are incredible and the resources they offer are life changing.
