Mission: The foundation provides emergency assistance for dozens of individuals facing personal tragedies, funding for technology needs for the department, officers equipment and other various initiatives that help the phoenix police department in its efforts to keep americas fifth-largest city as safe as possible.
Programs: The phoenix police foundation ppf continues to have great success supporting the phoenix police department with unmet capital needs, providing financial assistance and recognizing those who protect our communities. In 2017 the ppf purchased a new k-9 for the phoenix police department bomb squad, funded community related programs such as the phoenix police youth experience, purchased five ballistic shields for patrol officers, funded the annual department awards ceremony, and supported the squad of a fallen officer with travel expenses to police week in washington dc.
