I have volunteered for PetBuddies for years. I love how they give back to the community and helps those in need. I started volunteering with them when they helped me when I was in need. I wanted to also give back. Great organization to have and be apart of!
I’ve volunteered with Pet Buddies Food Pantry for several years now and look forward to for many more. I’ve volunteered at outreach events, donations, building and maintaining doghouses, fences etc. I’m proud to do so as this is an organization that is 100% committed to improving the lives of the animals and families they support. I’ve seen first hand how they go above and beyond to ensure that their supported families never go without and are never put in a position where they have to consider giving up their animal family members.
I have had the great pleasure in volunteering during outreach missions. I am extremely grateful for the chance to have helped pets that otherwise wouldn't have received the care they needed without this program. Pet Buddies' is not afraid to go into under-served areas to educate, donate and build trust with families in desperate need. Their non-judgmental and humble demeanor makes all their hard efforts pay off, nearly all the families they approach are receptive to their help. It is AMAZING to be a part of! I cannot say enough amazing things about their work and mission. They do so much behind the scenes, I wish more people knew the founders dedication to helping the much needed sweet animals of Atlanta. I started out a volunteer and now I am a donor!
My husband and I have volunteered with two of Pet Buddies Food Pantry’s community outreach events. The experiences were incredible, and I would encourage any animal lover to get involved with this amazing organization. Pet Buddies brings their services directly to people and pets in need—something that is so desperately needed in a metro area as large and difficult to navigate as Atlanta. And their services are comprehensive! We handed out pet food, provided new collars and leashes, trimmed nails and signed pets up to be spayed/neutered, while vets administered vaccines. And these services were delivered with compassion and kindness to ensure the dignity of those on the receiving end. With the care and services that they provide, Pet Buddies is helping families keep their pets healthy and helping families keep their pets in their loving homes—and out of shelters.
After volunteering with Pet Buddies for several years, it was easy to see the difference they make not only in the lives of individuals who are struggling to feed and keep their pets, but to whole communities thru Pet Buddies outreach programs, where they offer free or reduced fees for spay/neuter, education and followup to ensure the residents become responsible owners going forward. I have seen the numbers of unwanted litters in communities reduced and general health of the pet population increased. Pet Buddies are able to quickly respond to specific individual problems and needs but also work side by side with other groups. One could feel good that individual pets were being helped, but also feel that a greater difference was being made when you could see hundreds of pet owners in line to sign up for spay/neuter and vaccinations for their pets. Pet Buddies makes a difference.
Pet Buddies Food Pantry is a wonderful organization filling (and fulfilling) a much-needed gap in the animal rescue world. Not only do they provide food, sponsor spay/neuter services and vaccinations, but they are on the ground going door to door offering to help families that have animals in need. Whether it's food, fencing, dog houses, etc., the team is ready to do anything and everything to provide assistance. I'm a huge fan of this amazing organization and all the work they do!

Pet Buddies is an amazing organization that does so much for the pets and struggling families in the Atlanta area. They are filling a huge need in the Atlanta community and I can't say enough wonderful things about their mission, their people and all they do.
Their name doesn't start to describe all they do. While they started as a pet food pantry to help struggling families feed their pets, their mission has grown into so much more! They help educate about being responsible pet parents, they provide community outreach to underserved areas by building dog and cat houses, spaying and neutering family pets, providing emergency medical support, supporting TNR and more. It’s truly inspiring how much this small organization accomplishes - and how much more they would accomplish with more grants to fund their programs.
Their Executive Director and Founder has dedicated her free time and weekends to making a difference in the Atlanta area – which is much needed. There mission is to keep animals with their families, and while we have a huge problem with animals ending up in shelters, they are the bright spot in helping to keep as many families together.
I wish I could give Pet Buddies 10 stars! I run a pet food bank in NJ, and we began operations shortly after they did. They have inspired us, wowed us and been kind enough to give us advice and guidance. We are in awe of the impact that Pet Buddies has had and hope to one day have a similar impact. They work tirelessly to make a difference to families and pets that desperately need it. Their outreach projects are incredible and besides distributing literally thousands of pounds of food at a time, pets are spayed and neutered and given medical care in astounding numbers. So many families love their pets but are unable to provide all they need.... and Pet Buddies fills that void for them. Their community impact is tangible. It is an exhausting job, and emotionally challenging, but they press on and only gain steam in working toward helping more and more families and their beloved pets.
I have supported Pet Buddies Food Pantry for at least the past 8 years - providing pet food and other pet supplies for distribution to pet parents who need assistance to keep their pets. Pet Buddies has been instrumental in saving many pets in the metro Atlanta community by providing families with pet food, spay/neuter surgery and vaccinations. The families of many of these animals might be forced to give up their pets without the assistance of Pet Buddies. They have an excellent reputation in the community and partner with many other local organizations in their lifesaving work.
