the chick-fil-a kickoff game and its charitable giving platform were created to foster & promote ncaa football competition and to support college education through scholarship donations. The kickoff game is a neutral site college football game which is held at the beginning of every season. In the fiscal year ending february 28, 2015 the chick-fil-a kickoff game contributed $9,500,000 to educational institutions via game participation payouts to west virginia university, the university of alabama, university of mississippi, and boise state university.
the chick-fil-a peach bowl challenge golf tournament and its charitable giving platform were created to foster & promote ncaa competition and to support college education through the funding of endowed scholarships. In the fiscal year ending february 28, 2015 a total of $656,000 was donated to the scholarship funds of the 11 schools participating in the challenge event. An additional $672,400 was donated to the chick-fil-a leader academy, chick-fil-a foundation and the winshape foundation.
