Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Our mission is to glorify God and expand His kingdom by educating and equipping Christian brothers and sisters from the Dominican Republic, such that they love and serve their community, share the Gospel and reproduce disciple-makers. Our Purpose We connect those who have educational, physical, spiritual, or emotional needs with those who can help. Through this, we disciple and spread the good news of the Gospel. Our Promise Our work is to stand with the needy: encouraging, providing, and problem solving with them, allowing for autonomy and inspiring hope! From funding special programs, operations, and administrative needs of our grantee organizations, to sending volunteers on a mission to help with education, building and maintenance, medical care, community development, and spiritual growth, we seek to provide the resources needed. Our grantee communities rely on people like yourself to work with us in delivering on our promise.
Results: Since 1982, we have sent over 200 short term mission teams and 4000 mission team members to the Dominican Republic to partner with and serve the people of the village communities in medical, educational, and spiritual care.
Target demographics: those who have educational, physical, spiritual, or emotional needs, connecting them with those who can help. Through this, we disciple and spread the good news of the Gospel.
Direct beneficiaries per year: 435 students with their education, over 200 families with emotional, material, and spiritual support, and 1200 individuals with medical care that would otherwise have gone untreated.
Geographic areas served: The Dominican Republic
Programs: sponsored tuition for children in Christian Education schools in the rural villages of the island; providing healthcare and medical assisatnce to the far reaches of the communities; delivering financial, material, and spiritual support to families and idnividuals in need.
