Patients whose family income does not exceed twice the federal poverty guidelines may be eligible for financial assistance. The hospital not only sponsors its own events and outreach programs each year, but also takes an active role in numerous other health fairs, festivals, education, parades, and community events. Invests in key organizations that promote the healthy lifestyle choices and well-being of individuals, children, and families of wabash. In the calendar year 2016, the hospital selected 8 community agencies or organizations to support and collaborate in addressing our focus areas of smoking cessation and obesity. Samplings of those projects include:-neighbors walk-a-thon - parkview wabash hospital, inc. Provided the water station and a snack for more than 500 kids in grades k-4 during their annual walk at paradise spring park. -the hospital sponsored the ymca's water safety initiative program.
