Mission: The purpose of panhandle crimestoppers, inc. Is to assist law enforcement agencies with information on specific unsolved felony crimes, wanted persons, and other criminal activity that has been unavailable through normal investigation methods, to promote community involvement in all aspects of law enforcement, to promote a community offensive agianst crime; to motivate the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and to reward such cooperation.
Programs: Assisted law enforcement agencies by obtained information on specific unsolved crimes, obtained information on wanted persons and criminal activity unavailable through normal investigative methods; promoted community involvement in all aspects of law enforcement; promoted a community offensive against crime; educated the public and motivated their cooperation with law enforcement agencies; awarded the public for its copperation and assistance rendered to law enforcement; and sponsored and assisted in the operation of an on-campus extension of the crimestopper programs in each of the high schools and middle schools in bay county.
