Mission: To ignite the fight against
Programs: Wgca's community educational outreach program increased public awareness of risks and symptoms of gynecologic cancers by hosting formal presentations and participating in community health fairs and educational events at local hospitals. Over 3,500 people were provided educational resources to help track symptoms and ignite conversations about their gynecological health with their medical providers. Wgca also hosted social support groups in different areas of the community, supporting over 550 individuals battling or having survived a gynecologic cancer.
