Mission: The mission of the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Foundation is to financially support the development of individuals and organizations which perpetuate the spirit and legacy of Duke Kahanamoku.
Target demographics: athletes and athletic organizations
Direct beneficiaries per year: 25-34 scholarship recipients and 20-30 grantee events & teams
Geographic areas served: the Hawaiian Islands
Programs: college scholarships for local water athletes and volleyball players, and grants for teams and events that perpetuate the legacy of Duke Kahanamoku. We also maintain the Hawaii Waterman Hall of Fame.
