Mission: Outreach for a Healthier Tomorrow believes that a healthier tomorrow starts today. We want to lead the community to overall healthy lifestyles by assisting clients to achieve wellness in both mind and body. Our mission is to provide individuals in the community with the resources they need to receive services for behavioral health issues, medical exams, life skills and education in alternative choices for a healthier standard of living. Our goal at Outreach for a Healthier Tomorrow is to encourage people to learn healthy lifestyle patterns, to seek help and discover the changes needed to break old patterns of behavior that are not beneficial to the overall mental and physical well being of the entire family.
Results: Outreach for a Healthier Tomorrow has only been open since May 2013 and is still trying to build up funding, but in the first 30 days we have already assisted 6 clients in our computer assistance program, assisted one family with nutrition assistance, approved a grant for mental health counseling at AMI Behavioral Health Services, and started a waiting list for clients needing funding for PCAP medical insurance premiums.
