Causes: Sports, Swimming & Other Water Recreation
Mission: To provide swimming lessons to children and adults including those with special needs, such as autism, add, sensory integration, anxiety, down and charge syndrome, auditory processing disorders and dyslexia. We provide lessons to service-disabled veterans and athletes of the u. S. Paralympics and u. S. Special olympics.
Programs: Swimming lessons - during 2017, one with the water distributed scholarships valued at 63,150 to children of families with financial hardships and special needs. We taught a total of 2,200 hours of swimming lessons in 2017. Approximately 65 of all lessons are taught to kids with special needs, including physical and cognitive disabilities. We are equipped to teach kids and adults with add adhd, anxiety, auditory processing disorders, autism spectrum, down and charge syndrome, amputation, cerebral palsy, spinal bifida, spinal cord injury, obesity and other disabilities.
