Causes: Adoption, Children & Youth
Mission: One Heart recruits, trains and supports Christian parents for children in need of a foster or adoptive home.
Results: One Heart began in Jan. 2004. Families that have been trained with One Heart have cared for over 500 children in these 10 years. We have assisted in the state training for over 180 families. And 92 children have been adopted into families that have completed training during our first 10 years.
Target demographics: children in state foster care.
Direct beneficiaries per year: care for 102 children in foster care, with 18 adoptions.
Geographic areas served: St. Louis, MO and surrounding counties
