The Olympia Peace Choir is an inclusive, intergenerational community chorus dedicated to using the power of song to create peace and social justice.
The Choir is an independent non-profit organization with no religious or political affiliations. We welcome all who love to sing! There are no auditions. We sing for the joy of it and perform at approximately six community events each year.
Prospective members may attend the first two rehearsals in September and January before deciding to join. The Choir’s expenses – for our professional director and accompanist, rehearsal space, and music – are primarily covered by member fees. There is a sliding scale based on ability to pay and there are some partial scholarships available. The Choir is managed by a volunteer board of directors and supported by members who volunteer for tasks.

Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The purpose of TOPC is to support an inclusive, intergenerational community chorus dedicated to using the power of song to create peace and social justice.
Results: In our first 4 years, we have grown to a choir of nearly 100, given more than 20 performances, and raised funds for Safeplace, the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County, and SideWalk.

Direct beneficiaries per year: raise money for rapid rehousing of homeless people through SideWalk, another great local non-profit.
