Mission: Dedicated to preserving, protecting and promoting the history of old saybrook.
Programs: The old saybrook historical society is dedicated to the discovery, acquisition and preservation of material relating to the civil, military, literary, cultural and ecclesiastical history of the saybrook colony and the town of old saybrook. The society maintains archives as they relate to geneology and historical records. The society also maintains the general william hart house and grounds, which serves as the site for periodic exhibits, programs on historical topics, and a reference library and archives on the saybrook colony.
