Mission: To encourage and support the establishment of industry-wide committees designed to improve labor-management relationships, job security, competitiveness, productivity, organizational effectiveness and economic development.
Programs: Safety and substance abuse training and testing: established and maintained an open working relationship between the mechanical contracting management and labor organizations in northwest ohio. Developed a drug free workforce program for over 1,000 employees of organized labor covered by labor agreements in northwest ohio.
industry promotion: developing strategies for marketing of the mechanical contracting industry including recruiting and safety promotion and awareness for over 1,000 individuals within the industry.
provided license reimbursement for approximately 500 individuals.
