Causes: Environment, Environmental Education
Mission: To promote, preserve and protect our hunting and outdoor heritage. The organization provides record keeping of wildlife populations and maintains historical records; provides hunting and outdoor safety education and seminars; and preserves wilderness lands for the enjoyment of the general public.
Programs: The notheast outdoors foundation inc. Plans to provide history, education and knowledge regarding hunting in the northeastern united states and to assist in creating a safe hunting environment for future generations. We also plan to hold free seminars on hunting safety, safety afield, conservation events, gun and bow safety and create publications regarding habitat and environmental management. Additionally, the nof will acquire or lease undeveloped land for preservation and conserve these lands for the use and enjoyment by hunters and the general public.
