great plains health operates a 116-bed inpatient hospital. The inpatient care provided in those units are the following: medical, surgical, intensive care, coronary care, obstetrics, labor & delivery, nicu, and behavior health services. Great plains health patients come from primary and secondary markets. The inpatient admissions continue to grow and the medicare case mix acuity has increased by 12% over the past two years.
great plains health is dedicated to meeting the behavioral health needs of the communities we serve. To help meet those needs, we operate a dedicated behavioral health unit/floor at the hospital. The unit accepts a wide variety of behavioral diagnosis and issues.
