Causes: Environment, Environmental Education
Mission: To conduct research and educate the public on subjects useful to the individual and beneficial to the community regarding refrigeration methods and ways to reduce the environmental impacts of refrigeration.
Programs: The association has 80 member organizations. Members are encouraged to participate in at least one of the 6 progress groups. During 2017 progress groups successfully developed and launched a free web-based tool the nasrc service network, designed to stimulate workforce development and connect refrigeration contractors with experience in natural refrigerants to end-users searching for qualified service, participated in public policy processes at the state and national level and contributed articles, blogs and newsletters for members and others interested in the industryreceived award from the national steering committee of small business environmental assistance programs and small business ombudsmen for leadership nationwide in the areas of compliance assistance, susrtainability, advocacy and collaboration.
