Mission: A non-profit agency founded in 1979, NYS is one of over 95 Youth Service Bureaus in CT. Our programs are based on the Positive Youth Development model, which states that if you are able to bond a child positively with his/her peers, family, schools, and community then that child will grow to be a healthy, productive adult.
