Causes: Women, Womens Service Clubs
Mission: The national council of jewish women is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by jewish values, the organization strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children and families by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.
Programs: Programs undertaken and accomplished include but are not limited to; books, mommy and me, a program to mentor urban school children from grade six to twelve. Coalitions with other community organizations on projects related to domestic violence and elder care.
