I've been so pleased to be a part of the Portland chapter of NCL! Such a friendly, warm and welcoming group. It's been a wonderful way to spend time with my daughter, while giving back to our community.
There are a variety of speakers and programming from Executive functioning & how to talk with your daughter about the ups and downs of friendship, to fashion and hands on philanthropy. My daughter's meetings have had content on how to conduct a meeting, self defense, yoga, self care, leadership, and hands on philanthropy.
There are many opportunities for philanthropy for you and your daughter. I 've been on the board for two years, and found the women to be supportive and collaborative. I appreciate that our girls to get see us in leadership roles, and they also get a chance to lead too. Overall, it's a beneficial program and I highly recommend it.
