Causes: Health, Home Health Care
Mission: Munson home care delivers excellent care in the home for munson healthcare patients and the residents of the communities we serve. Munson hospice is dedicated to a team approach to management of the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the terminally ill and their loved ones.
Programs: Skilled home care - provide skilled nursing, physical therapy and social work services to home bound patients. There were a total of 147,988 episodes and visits in tax year 2016.
hospice house - own and operate an end-of-life facility to provide compassionate care to patients and their families. There were a total of 47,264 visits in tax year 2016.
palliative care - munson palliative care assists in creating an environment of comfort, tranquility, dignity, and healthy grieving based on patient and family wishes. Also assists health care providers in treating pain and other symptoms in the last stages of life and facilitates diffiult conversations between family members and health providers. There were a total of 1,702 visits in tax year 2016.
