Causes: Cancer, Cancer Research, Health
Mission: We are a group of volunteer women women who love children, hate cancer, and are dedicated to raising the most funds with the least expense to be directed towards pediatric cancer research at texas children's hospital with a goal of finding a cure for cancer.
Programs: Mothers against cancer had an annual luncheon, raffle and auction at the humble civic center club in december 2017. Net proceeds along with contributions are donated to texas children's hospital in houston, texas for pediatric cancer research. In addition, parking assistance and miscellaneous items are provided to cancer patient families during their treatments. The 2017 luncheon was cancelled due to hurricane harvey. However, a donation of 80k was still given to texas children's from donations received by supporters as well as the annual fun run event.
