Causes: Environment
Mission: The missouri water environment association is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and improving the quality of missouri's water environment by providing a forum for education and the exchange of information, promoting sound environmental policy and building alliances among all persons interested in the water environment. The missouri water environment association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of water quality and water resources, and the relationship of these resources to the total environment. The association advances the science of water quality, educates, disseminates technical information, increases public understanding and promotes sound public policy.
Programs: Annual meeting and educational seminars are held to educate members and the public and to exchange information relating to missouri's water environment.
scholarships are awarded to college students who are enrolled in missouri schools in an environmental program. A portion of the scholarships are awarded directly to the students.
water for people - to provide funds to not-for-profit entity that assists individuals with their water bills. Water environment research foundation - to provide funds to not-for-profit entity dedicated to wastewater and stormwater research.
