Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health Associations
Mission: To enhance the quality of life for children with emotional and behavioral disorders and their families.
Programs: Education - provides educational opportunities through publications, workshops, conferences and personal contact. Participants include parents and family members of children with mental health disorders and professionals who serve this population. Information includes, but is not limited to, accessing services, understanding childhood mental health disorders, self-advocacy, and reducing stigma.
family support- helps families access appropriate and timely mental health services. Also provides information and emotional support through individual advocacy, parent run support groups and parent to parent connections. Provides collaboration with other organizations whose mission is improving outcomes for children with mental health disorders.
