Programs: Charis house is a woman's residential recovery program for substance abuse. In 2014, the charis house program provided services to 15 clients and 21 volunteers donated 560 hours.
tender hearts caring hands is a benevolent program which provides various forms of financial assistance to individuals and families; including but not limited to: rent, utility, transportation, and food. 598 individuals and families received financial assistance in 2014, 2,637 individuals and families received food in 2014, and 22 volunteers donated 1,940 hours.
ministry village bargain center is a retail operation where home furnishings, clothes and other miscellaneous items are donated and then sold to the community at a greatly reduced price. In 2014 28 individuals/families who were in a crisis situation received clothing and or household items free of charge from the bargain center. The bargain center also offers a work recovery program for the clients of the charis house program. In 2014 28 volunteers donated 5,530 hours for the program.
other programs include the most excellent way, which is an alcohol and drug support group for men and women, and jail ministries which is an outreach program to inmates in local jails and prisons. The most excellent way program holds 11 - 12 meetings monthly and in 2014 12 volunteers donated 424 hours. Other programs also include keep the lights on, which is a program dedicated to assisting families in need with utility expenses. In 2014, the keep the lights on program provided $42,980 in assistance to 210 households.
