Ministro Journeys

I have been a part of Ministro Journeys for many years in some form or another: trip participant, board member, supporter. I have been blessed by the work they do in helping connect people with God's call on their lives and Christ's call to love and serve others. The leadership truly exhibits love; they also possess a wealth of wisdom when it comes to travel and sustainable service that honors those being served and God. This is a wonderful organization whether you are interested in serving on a short-term trip, need in-country assistance while serving long-term, have a group wanting to take a short-term trip, or are an organization looking for partners and volunteers to serve with.

Ministro Journeys assists people take mission trips where they can make an impact on the people in that setting. I know people who have travelled with this ministry and they always come back with more compassionate hearts, clearer concept of mission trips, and their own growth.

Andy led the trip I went on recently to South Africa. I feel this ministry is spirit lead, Andy has a heart for missions and it is his gift. He works hard to serve and meet the needs of not only the places he is serving at the time, but also of the people he leads on his trips. This group is tuned in to the needs of missions around the world who need the help of folks on short-term trips. Their expertise in arranging travel, instructing on how to prepare for a trip, and debriefing on re-entry is invaluable. A great service for anyone who wants to go on a short-term trip but doesn’t have a clue where to start and how to get all the arrangements together.

I have been donating to Ministro Journeys for several years thru Amazon Prime Smile. Andy Newton is my cousin and I have watched him grow in his faith to the Lord while enduring his own serious health issues. Andy and the team at Ministro Journeys are devoted to having hearts of service. By planning and putting in place mission trips (both abroad or here at home) for a variety of organizations who also feel a call to serve the Lord, Ministro Journeys can give others the chance to say "send me Lord".

Andy and this organization have changed my life forever! I have travelled to China three times on mission trips organized by Andy, the third being through Ministro, and each time has been an even greater experience than the last. These trips are well organized, flexible, and there is always a strong sense of unity within the group members. I would encourage anyone who has a heart for missions to look into Ministro Journeys! I think one of the greatest things about this nonprofit is the amazing relationships that are built within each team and the amazing people they reach. I have been able to reach people around the world in ways that I could have never imagined before, and that's all thanks to Andy and Ministro Journeys.

Ministro Journeys has been life changing for me. My eyes have been opened in ways they never would have had I not gone on trips with them. I feel like because of my service with them and going on trips with them as well I've begun seeing the world and people in a completely new light, one that honors the integrity of people everywhere. We have worked with Ministro several times in the past for our mission trips to Haiti. Andy is professional, caring, discerning and has gone above and beyond any expectations we have had for mission trip assistance. We are going again in November -- and are so pleased to be working with him again!
