Mission: Michigan nonprofit association(mna)serves nonprofits to advance their missions. We support michigan's nonprofit sector through capacity building services, public policy and advocacy and building a life long contiuum of civic engagement. Evidence of this work is also visible through the following program affiliates; michigan campus compact, volunteer centers of michigan, the league michigan, highway t and data driven detroit.
Programs: Public grants - through state and federal funding sources, the association provides capacity building services, including training, technical assistance, and data and technology services to small and mid-size nonprofit organizations as well as colleges and universities.
educational services - the association provides through its lansing and metro detroit offices high-quality, low-cost training to nonprofit boards, staff, and volunteers throughout michigan including statewide conferences and smaller regional seminars.
volunteerism - the association has a strong commitment to volunteerism through its affiliations with the michigan campus compact, the volunteer centers of michigan, and the league michigan, its partnership with the michigan community service commission, and with the support of the connectmichgian alliance endowment.
